Bingo tonight on Camano Island
Camano Canines 4-H Club offers a Family Bingo Night on Camano Island.
It’s planned for 6:30 tonight at Utsalady Elementary School, 608 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island.
Game packages are $5 and include nine games and a dauber.
Prizes include a two-day, one-night vacation in a family suite at The Great Wolf Lodge and Water Park in Grand Mound.
Edmonds seniors set a Saturday sale
South County Senior Center offers a holiday bazaar and bake sale on Saturday. It’s planned for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 220 Railroad Ave., Edmonds.
Find free popcorn and cider. Goods for sale include crafts, fine arts, infant and children’s clothing, jewelry and more.
Fewer will travel on Thanksgiving
AAA forecasts a small decline in the number of folks traveling during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Approximately 41 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more from home this Thanksgiving holiday weekend, a decrease of 1.4 percent from last year’s total of 41.6 million.
This is the first decline in Thanksgiving holiday travel since 2002 and is the fourth consecutive travel holiday this year with a year-to-year decline in the number of travelers.
Food bank really needs donations
Donations are down and the number of clients is up at the Granite Falls Food Bank.
The need is expected to continue to rise after the holidays, officials said. Volunteers are welcome, along with cash and nonperishable food.

School’s play helps children’s museum
Drama students at Marysville Arts and Technology High School are performing a play to raise money for the Everett Children’s Museum.
The students are staging “The Robin Hood Caper” at 7 p.m. Dec. 12 and 13 and at 1 p.m. Dec. 13. Admission is $7. All proceeds from the 1 p.m. showing go to the Imagine Children’s Museum in Everett.
The play will be at Arts and Technology High School, 7204 27th Ave. NE, Marysville.
