Reader poll of the week

Published 10:33 am Monday, December 1, 2008

Former Silvertip Riley Armstrong making his NHL debut on Saturday got me thinking. So far there is only one former Everett player who’s made it to the show and stuck, that being Peter Mueller. Three others have now gotten into at least one game: Armstrong, Michael Wall and Ivan Baranka. But Wall and Baranka only got cups of coffee, and it remains to be seen whether Armstrong gets more than that.

So when are the Tips going to have a second NHL regular, and just who will that be?

For the purpose of this poll I’ve included people currently in the AHL as well as draft picks still in the WHL. I didn’t include players from the European KHL because I didn’t want the poll to get too out of hand, but perhaps I should have — I’ve included an “other” category, so they can be covered there. And as always, feel free to share your thought process in the comments section, and I’ll be happy to join the discussion.
