No invite for Beach

Hockey Canada selected 18 players from the WHL to attend its selection camp for the World Junior Hockey Championships. Everett winger Kyle Beach was not among them. Beach has the talent to warrant selection, but it appears past run-ins with Hockey Canada continue to haunt him.
Tough break for Beach, who was hoping to be given the opportunity to represent his country. The Tips receive some small consolation in that Beach won’t miss any games because of international duty.
