Air Force Airman Kassandra R. Schaff has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Schaff earned distinction as an honor graduate. She is the daughter of Nicholas Schaff of Everett and a 2008 graduate of Henry M. Jackson High School in Mill Creek.

Air Force Airman Sharmaine A. Popa has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Ronald and Florencia Popa of Oak Harbor and a 2007 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.
