The trade deadline is past, the rosters are set, and now we know what every team will bring with them the rest of the season and into the playoffs.

Everett was sort of a hybrid buyer/seller leading into the deadline. On the one hand the Tips upgraded their goaltending with the addition of Thomas Heemskerk. On the other they traded away their top talent in winger Kyle Beach.

I think the best way to break Everett’s season down is before and after Heemskerk’s first appearance. There was just one game where both Heemskerk and Beach played for Everett, and Beach didn’t play the final 27 minutes because of penalties/injury.

Using that as a guideline, Everett was 17-15-5-0 before the moves and 3-2-0-0 since, pretty similar records, although the second sample size is too small to come to any real conclusions.

So what I want to know today is how you think Everett will fare the rest of the season. Is Everett going to do better, worse or largely the same as a result of the changes? Feel free to explain your thinking in the comments section.
