MARYSVILLE — Firefighters Saturday night worked quickly to extinguish a garage fire.

Crews responded to a report of a house fire in the 5100 block of 113th Place NE about 9:45 p.m., Marysville Fire District Battalion Chief Rex Tucker said.

Firefighters discovered flames and smoke in the garage and got the fire under control in less than 10 minutes, Tucker said. The flames didn’t get into the living area of the home.

A space heater may have caused the fire, Tucker said. Nobody was hurt.

The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office conducted an investigation Saturday night.
