Reader poll of the week

Everett is nearly done with it’s toughest five-game stretch of the season, during which the Tips received a steady diet of the Western Conference’s top three teams. Everett lost each of the first four, falling 5-1 at home to defending Memorial Cup champion Spokane, 4-1 at U.S. Division-leading Tri-City, 7-0 at conference-leading Vancouver, then 4-3 in overtime back at Tri-City again. The stretch ends Wednesday with another home game against Spokane.

This stretch has given everyone a chance to see (or hear) how the conference’s best teams compare when playing a common opponent. So what I want to know now is who people believe is now the top contender in the west this season. Which team impresses you as the one most likely to go all the way to the WHL finals? Feel free to make an off-the-board selection, but please let us know the selection in the comments section.
