Lynne Mistelbacher, Jordan Mistelbacher’s mother, wanted me to pass this message along to the Silvertip fans. Unfortunately, I seem to have missed her e-mail the first time it was sent, so it’s coming a couple weeks later than intended:

The family of Jordan Mistelbacher would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Silvertips Fans, all the Everett Billet families, The amazing Silvertips Booster club, the players and their families, other WHL teams, Booster clubs, Billet families and players. The WHL players who came from different teams and The Silvertips organization for sending the players to be with Jordan to help make his send off even more special. Jordan loved everything about Everett, he loved wearing shorts while we were in our big winter parkas in Winterpeg. He loved his billets, his fans (especially the little ones). Most of all Jordan was a boy in a man’s body with a big heart. He loved playing on a team, he loved his team mates and would do anything for them. In this time of tragedy our hearts have been touched so deeply with gifts of food, flowers, plants, expressions of sympathy through face book entries, cards and letters with pictures and memories of Jordan. A special Thank you to a girl named Sara Peterson for being such a kind genuine person, we will treasure Jordan’s jersey forever! You are all amazing people and our family will find great comfort in knowing Jordan has touched the hearts of so many people in his short life. Remember Tips : Jordan is rooting for you from that big hockey rink in the sky! GO TIPS GO!

With love &Appreciation !
