Everett City Council, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, council chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The agenda includes a public hearing on a proposal to rezone a few hundred acres of industrial land that a developer plans to convert into a large outdoor shopping mall and residential community. The council is scheduled to vote on the rezone at its meeting on March 25.

Sultan City Council special session, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, City Hall, 319 Main St. Proposed procedures would give city residents the ability to host special events on city property and encourage tourism.
