Gaining traction: a Boeing-Northrop split tanker contract

It’s the debate that just won’t go away: splitting the Air Force tanker contract between the Boeing Co. and Northrop Grumman-EADS.
The Pentagon opposes it.
But Rep. John Murtha, D-Penn., wants it. And he’s considering adding a provision into a supplemental defense bill demanding the Pentagon divvy up the lucrative deal, according to this report.
