Arlington Airport Commission workshop meeting, 5 p.m. Tuesday, Hadley Hall community room, 18513 59th Ave. NE.

Everett Planning Commission, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Everett Station fourth-floor Weyerhaeuser Room, 3201 Smith St. The commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on a proposal that could eventually allow hundreds of homes and commercial buildings to be constructed at the CEMEX quarry on Glenwood Avenue, Sievers-Duecy Boulevard and Merrill Creek Parkway.

Everett City Council, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, council chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The council is scheduled to vote on whether to give Touchstone Corp. of Seattle an extra six months to decide on whether to buy city land at the corner of Colby Avenue and Wall Street for a high-rise hotel.
