Turning jets into accommodations seems to be gaining popularity these days.

There’s the 747 jumbo jet hotel in Stockholm.

And another 747 was turned into a Malibu home.

The latest is a Boeing 727 that’s been made into luxury hotel lodgings in Costa Rica.

Hotel Costa Verde rents out this 727 for $300 to $350 nightly.

The Boeing jet now features teak wood interior with two air conditioned bedrooms, kitchenette and TV.

Best of all: the view. The jet sits on a 50-foot pedestal overlooking a national park in Costa Rica. Its private balcony has ocean view.

The hotel encourages guests to “Enjoy an evening on the terrace while sipping a glass of wine and observing your tree top neighbors: sloths, toucans and monkeys…………….”
