Gardener author Marianne Binetti speaks Saturday

Here’s a killer deal for gardening fans with free time this Saturday.

The Arlington Garden Club and the Evergreen District of Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs will present author and local gardening celebrity Marianne Binetti at 10 a.m. Saturday at Magnolia Hall, 225 E. Third St., Arlington.

Binetti will discuss “flexible gardening,” including how to grow and change with your garden to create more joy and less stress and work.

Doors will open at 9:30 a.m., followed by Binetti’s talk and a book signing from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Lunch, including salads, bread, beverages and a chocolate mousse, will be served afterward.
