Currently housed in a single-story, 1,400-square-foot building, airport offices are expected to grow to about 8,800 square feet with the planned remodel and expansion. Construction is expected to begin before June and be completed by late October.

The majority of the new space will be leased to the state Department of Transportation’s aviation division, but the expansion is set to include airport offices, a new community meeting room, a pilots lounge and a deck that will allow airport staff to observe operations during emergencies on the airfield.
