Everett: EvCC club to host industry dinner
Everett Community College’s Society of Women Engineers club is hosting Dinner with Industry at 6 p.m. Friday in EvCC’s Whitehorse Hall.
High school and college students interested in careers in engineering, science and mathematics are invited.
The event is free; reservations are required. To attend, RSVP by Wednesday with your name and school to kwashburn@everettcc.edu.
Dinner is in EvCC’s Whitehorse critique space on the building’s main floor. EvCC, 2000 Tower St., is two blocks west of North Broadway, between 10th and Tower streets.
Snohomish: Feed the hungry with food drive
Bring donations to the Snohomish Community Food Bank today and Tuesday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Snohomish Top Food &Drug. The annual food drive sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers is the largest in the nation. Carriers nationwide collected just over 73 million pounds of food last year.
