‘White pride’ just more hypocrisy

I was taught in Journalism 101 that people live their lives in a rear-view mirror: things were better in the “good ol’ days.” We did not have to lock our doors because our neighbors were honest, and a handshake was good enough to seal a transaction. Unfortunately, many have forgotten the meaning of integrity and character, substituting instead definitions of hypocrisy and deception.
Out of the mouths of those who secretly despise their fellow man come words of patriotism and human rights. In reality, that rhetoric serves as a smoke screen to cover their prejudice and arrogant pride. When challenged with words of common sense, or scriptural truths, they will hide behind their rantings about how superior the white race is above the Jews, African-Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans and every other culture that doesn’t fit their qualifiers. The National Alliance is filling the minds of many angry young men (white, of course) who do not see how such propaganda influenced the events of the 1930s in Germany.
The Founding Fathers were men of wisdom and vision when they penned the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. They were men of integrity and honor who sought to establish a nation that would accept people from all nations. Were they perfect in their inclusiveness? No. It took time to recognize the value of each human being, created by the same God.
America has come far as a “melting pot” culture, yet I am outraged to hear and see the lack of integrity of individuals who choose to resurrect the “good ol’ days” of oppression.
