Local dancers make top 20 on ‘America’s Got Talent’

The kids have yet to turn 10, but they will be seen by millions.

Erik, 9, of Lake Stevens and Rickie*, 8, of Everett are among the top 20 finalists on “America’s Got Talent,” the highest-rated prime-time show in recent weeks. The ballroom dancers will perform again at 9 p.m. Tuesday on NBC.

Viewers can vote for the couple after Tuesday’s broadcast. Results will be aired at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

“America’s Got Talent” is the U.S. version of the British show that made Susan Boyle famous. It counts Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff among its celebrity judges.
