Feeling creative? Marysville Library offers classes on two art techniques

Marysville Library has art on the schedule, with classes in paper craft and sketching techniques.

Sebastian and Young Ok Kim will present a Hanji Art Workshop at 3 p.m. Monday. Students will learn to make traditional Korean two-dimensional paper art crafts.

The workshop lasts 2½ hours. Attendance is limited, so please call 360-658-5000 or visit the information desk to register.

Molly Hashimoto will present a Watercolor Nature Journal class at 10 a.m. Oct. 17.

Participants will learn how to create a journal that celebrates nature. Students will use pencils, pens and watercolor techniques to sketch beautiful natural objects, including the best of the early fall season.

No previous art experience is necessary, and all supplies will be provided. The class lasts for 1 ½ hours. Attendance is limited, so please register online at sno-isle.org. If you can’t register online, call 360-658-500 or visit the information desk.
