Tips on TV

SHAW television in Canada announced its WHL broadcast schedule for the 2009-10 season, and Everett made the cut as the Tips’ game Jan. 15 at Chilliwack is on the schedule.

Of course, this doesn’t seem to matter much for those of us in the U.S. as we can’t get SHAW broadcasts. But wait! During the second half of last season FSN showed six games involving U.S. Division teams. Four of those games were SHAW broadcasts that FSN picked up. Last season I heard the league was planning on setting up a similar deal with FSN this season. So it wouldn’t surprise me if that game ended up on TV here, too.
