Notes: Vancouver is missing first liners in center James Wright (still with the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning) and right wing Garry Nunn (broken leg), while defenseman Dillon Scholten is out with a wrist injury. Star left wing Evander Kane is not on the roster, but there’s still a chance he’ll be returned by the NHL’s Atlanta Thrashers. Bith Mitch Spooner and Brandon Scholten are taking the warm-up, but only one will play.
