ARLINGTON – Police this morning arrested a man wanted in a series of payday loan store heists.
A 47-year-old Marysville man led police on a chase before he was arrested about 11 a.m., Arlington spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said. He is suspected of robbing three payday loan stores in Everett, Arlington and Mill Creek.
The man allegedly told detectives he was responsible for the three armed robberies, Banfield said. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of eluding police and three counts of robbery.
Detectives from several police departments were working together on the case, Banfield said.
