EVERETT — There’s still time to get into the holiday spirit.

The city is hosting a free event, Wintertide, and your last chance to experience it is the Monday before Christmas.

Step back into an old-world village at Wintertide, held at Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave.

Join carolers in song, warm up next to a bonfire and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa.

Kids’ activities include holiday craft projects and a model railroad.

The final day also includes two free movies:

  • 4 p.m. “Elf,” 2003, (PG), 1 hour, 35 minutes

Buddy the Elf (Will Ferrell) leaves his adopted North Pole home to find his true human family in New York City.

  • 7 p.m. “It’s a Wonderful Life,” 1947 (G)

The heartwarming holiday classic is about an angel who helps a down-on-his-luck family man (Jimmy Stewart) by showing him what life would have been like if he never existed.
