Officials for the Boeing Co. and its engineers union met yesterday to discuss the company’s planned changes to its tuition reimbursement program.
Leaders for the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace say the company withdrew a plan to retroactively enforce cuts to its reimbursement program back to last October. SPEEA had called that move a violation of the union’s contract with Boeing.
Boeing and SPEEA are set to continue talks on the company’s tuition reimbursement program on Jan. 11.
