Granite Falls sex offender notice prompts meeting

GRANITE FALLS — People are invited to meet with Snohomish County sheriff’s officials on Thursday regarding a registered sex offender living in the 19900 block of Canyon Drive.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Granite Falls Middle School in the multipurpose room, sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.

Ricky Olson, originally from Minnesota, is currently on active supervision with the state Department of Corrections. He is not allowed contact with minors as one of his conditions of probation.
