Man found dead in Everett dumpster is identified

EVERETT — The man found dead in a dumpster early Saturday was identified as Gregory Duppenthaler.

A transient found Duppenthaler, 33, dead in a dumpster full of carpet remnants in the 3300 block of Smith Avenue.

The cause and manner of the man’s death are pending investigation, the Snohomish County medical examiner said on Tuesday.
