One injured after vehicle strikes power pole on U.S. 2

GOLD BAR — A driver hit a power pole about 6 p.m. along U.S. 2 between Gold Bar and Skykomish.
The driver person was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle
U.S. 2 was closed during the accident investigation but is now open to traffic.
