Man reportedly set on fire in Seattle

SEATTLE — Police are investigating how a man was seriously burned this morning in Seattle.

Spokesman Mark Jamieson said officers were called to Swedish Hospital about 4 a.m., but there’s no information yet about how the man was burned. He has been transferred to Harborview Medical Center.

Hospital spokeswoman Susan Gregg-Hanson said he’s in critical condition in the intensive care unit with burns over the majority of his body.

KING-TV reports the man told doctors someone poured gasoline on him and set him on fire.
