Graffiti. Some revile it. Others admire it.
So whether you wish to ban the spray can or sing its praises, you can see this modern-day artistic phenomenon at the Lowell Arts Works show “Canned: Graffiti, Street Art and Beyond.”
The graffiti show is on view through May 8 at Lowell Art Works, 5205 S. Second Ave., Everett.
“Hallowed Halls” is a photo exhibit that displays a series of pictures of vacant school buildings throughout Louisiana taken by Lauren Quincy Greathouse.
Greathouse spent several years photographing the underside of that state’s school system, taking pictures of stacked desks, dusty equipment and dirty halls.
“Hallowed Halls” opens today and runs through June 3 at the Lynnwood Library Gallery, 19200 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood.
