A U.S. District Judge in Chicago threw out a lawsuit that alleged Boeing Co. executives gave false statements about the company’s 787 Dreamliner.
The shareholders’ lawsuit was filed last year after Boeing announced its 787 would not fly as planned in June. Company executives had given assurances the Dreamliner would fly only a week before canceling the first flight.
The judge, however, said the shareholders failed to provide enough evidence to move the case forward, reports Bloomberg.
Today, Boeing’s shares got a boost from an analyst’s upgrade.
