Canyon Creek Cabinet Co. in Monroe recently added three new regional sales representatives: Rick Bickel, based in Jeffersonville, Ind.; Larry Harkleroad, of Syracuse, Ind.; and Lee Hanson, based in Helena, Mont.

Recent promotions at Cascade Bank: Rhonda Tingley to assistantant vice president and business banker. Tingley joined Cascade in 2008 as a business banking support specialist, after working in the field for almost 20 years. She works out of the bank’s Burlington location.

Front Street Branch Manager Jeff Luu to vice president. Luu joined Cascade in 2007 as a branch manager and has more than five years of experience in banking.

North Bend Branch Manager Dennise McGregor to vice president. McGregor joined Cascade in 2007 as a branch manager and has more than 20 years of experience in banking.

Sam Hyatt is the new manager of PSI’s Wal-Mart Washington Special Project, and will work at the engineering firm’s Mountlake Terrace office.

Selling to the Navy is an informational session from 10 a.m. to noon June 29 sponsored by the Navy and various business groups. Navy personnel will explain what it takes to work with the Navy and obtain Navy contracts. It will be at the Everett chamber office, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Suite 205.

Working with Twitter and Facebook is a seminar by the south county chamber to help businesses develop a plan for social media and use best practices. It will be from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Embassy Suites, 20610 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood.

Honors

Snohomish County’s Human Resources Department was honored for its outplacement services offered to employees facing layoffs. The National Association of Counties recognized the department led by Bridget Clawson for its comprehensive services to help employees find new employment as soon as possible.

Good Deeds

Housing Hope, a local affordable housing and services agency, will be the recipient of funds raised at an event co-hosted by Two Beers Brewery and the Prohibition Grille from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Prohibition Grille, 141 Hewitt Ave., Everett. The event will include a three-course beer pairing with food, live music and the opportunity to talk with the brewmasters. Cost is $35 per person, with $10 of each ticket will go to Housing Hope.
