Boeing receives 26 cancellations, including 15 for its 787 Dreamliner

The Boeing Co. logged in 26 jet cancellations — mostly for its 787 and 777 aircraft — today.

In its weekly update on the company’s orders and deliveries Web site, Boeing noted it lost an order for 15 787s, 10 777s and one 737.

The company also logged in orders for two 737s — one for a business jet, the other from an unidentified customer.

To date, Boeing has 319 gross orders this year. However, the jet maker has logged in 64 cancellations, including the 26 cancellations added today.
