More supplier changes ahead for Boeing 787 …

I’ve been on an assignment this afternoon but wanted to point out a few interesting stories that popped up today on Boeing and the 787:
Reuters had this story in which Boeing’s Jim Albaugh talks about how the company is assessing “new issues” on the 787 but hopes to deliver the first plane by year’s end.
And Bloomberg News has this one about how Boeing will likely take back work from some of its 787 suppliers. In it, Albaugh says the company is “very happy” about its purchase of 787 partner Vought’s South Carolina operations
