GRANITE FALLS — A 25-year-old Granite Falls man was arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault and reckless endangerment following a traffic accident Wednesday evening on Highway 92.
The driver was eastbound on the highway and turning left around 84th NE when he collided with a westbound car driven by a 22-year-old Snohomish man, the Washington State Patrol reported. The Snohomish man received an arm injury and was taken by aid car to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
The Granite Falls man acknowledged that he had consumed alcohol earlier in the day, according to a State Patrol memo.
He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for reckless endangerment because there were small children, ages 2 and 5, in his pickup truck, Trooper Keith Leary said.
