MONROE — A Spada Lake family was happy to get their new kitchen appliances back Wednesday.
The four appliances, valued at more than $7,000, were reported stolen from a garage in early August, said Debbie Willis, a Monroe police spokeswoman.
On Aug. 11, Monroe police found the appliances while serving a warrant at a home on the 18100 block of Storm Lake Road in Monroe. Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Patrol assisted with the warrant, Willis said.
Along with the appliances, investigators found several firearms, thousands of ammunition rounds, stolen vehicles, a meth lab and drugs at the home. A 34-year-old man was booked into jail after the search.
The family’s appliances were still in their original packaging, Willis said.
