Milestones: Anniversaries

Berentson

Olaf and Betty Berentson of Mill Creek plan to celebrate their 64th wedding anniversary Oct. 15.

They were married in San Diego on Oct. 15, 1946.

The couple has one son, Scott, two granddaughters and one great-grandson

Brown

Daryl and Sue Brown of Everett celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6.

They were married on Oct. 6, 1979, in Everett.

The couple has two daughters, a son and three grandchildren

Jacot

Ray and Dot (Doris) Jacot of Granite Falls celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on Oct. 3.

They were married on Oct. 3, 1941, in Granite Falls.

Ray came to Granite Falls from Kansas in 1940. He worked as a logger and retired from Scott Paper Co. Dot was born and raised in Granite Falls. She had several jobs, but her most important one was taking care of her family including three children: Kenneth, Jackie and Michael.

Both are members of various organizations and have been very active in their community and in their children’s and their grandchildren’s lives. Other family members include two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, four grandchildren-in-law, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
