EDMONDS — Erin Russell scored in the ninth minute of the Wesco 3A contest off a cross from Ariana Curva which turned out to be all Mountlake Terrace needed to secure the win and get a leg up on Oak Harbor for the sixth and final 3A District 1 playoff berth. The Hawks (3-8 league, 3-10 overall) are now four points ahead of the Wildcats (1-11, 2-12). Takara Mitsui notched the shutout in goal for Mountlake Terrace.
