Is Facebook more valuable than the Boeing Co.?

The answer is yes, according to new reports that say the social media giant is valued higher than the jet maker and defense company.

The New York Times reports that Facebook has raised $500 million from Goldman Sachs and a Russian investor. The deal puts a $50 billion value on Facebook.

That’s about $2.13 billion more than Boeing, reports The Street.com.

Other big companies on the “less valuable than Facebook” list? Bristol-Myers Squibb, Target and DuPont.
