Last chance to visit the flower show

Today is the last day of the Northwest Flower & Garden Show.

It’s your last chance to enjoy activities for kids, seminars by experts and two dozen stunning display gardens, all set to be dismantled when the show ends tonight at 6 p.m. at the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle.

Doors open at 9 a.m. today.

Admission is $20 at the door or $5 for ages 12 to 17. Call 253-756-2121 or go to www.gardenshow.com for more details.

If you’re unable to make it, there is another show in the works, the Everett Home & Garden Show, which opens Friday for a three-day run at Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett.

Hours will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 6

Admission is $6.75 or $6.25 for ages 58 and older. Ages 16 and younger can attend for free. See www.everetthomegardenshow.com for more information.
