Boeing drops eight 787s from order books

The Boeing Co. dropped orders for eight 787s from its backlog this week.

The jet maker added 23 new orders Thursday on its orders and deliveries site. Most of those orders were announced during the Paris Air Show this week.

Boeing also reduced its order total for 787s by eight and its 777 tally by two.
