Mike McCoy has been named president of Korry Electronics, a subsidiary of Esterline Corp. Located in Everett, Korry, a manufacturer of aerospace and defense products, employs about 600 people. McCoy began his career with Esterline in 1998 as a cost estimator at the Korry facilit
y. He has since held several senior leader positions in Esterline and Korry including director of finance and information technology for Esterline as well as vice president of finance.

Charlotte Walter, purchasing officer for the Port of Everett, is leaving for a job with the Texas Department of Transportation.
Karen Clements, the chief financial officer for the Port of Everett, was congratulated by the Port of Everett commission last week for earning a professional finance officer award for the 22nd consecutive year from the Washington Finance Officers Association. Officials said that under Clements’ tenure, the port has received 14 consecutive clean audits from the state, more than any other Washington port.

Sarah McKnight has been promoted to tax manager. Sarah joined Moss Adams in October 2005 and primarily serves dealership companies and business owners.

Owners of established small businesses can learn how to grow their companies through a program starting Sept. 22 at Everett Community College’s Corporate & Continuing Education Center. The program is designed for owners in business of at least five years who are committed to growth and want to learn how to get to the next level. It includes monthly one-on-one coaching, three-hour workshops and individual strategies. Cost is $1,700 for 50 hours of instruction and coaching. Fluke Corp. of Everett has published a new book to help electricians and plant maintenance technicians test and repair electronic motor drive systems. The 112-page book is called “Motor and Drive Troubleshooting: Basic Testing to Advance Diagnostics.” The book is available in the Fluke Literature Library.
