Prep girls soccer: Oak Harbor 1, Shorewood 1 (OT)

OAK HARBOR — Shorewood and Oak Harbor battled to tie after 90 minutes of play in the Wesco 3A contest. Oak Harbor (0-5-2 league, 0-5-2 overall) sophomore Faith Franssen scored in the 77th minute to force extra time. Franssen’s goal came after a corner kick in which the ball was cleared out and then sent back in. The Thunderbirds (2-3-2, 2-3-2) took a 1-0 lead in the 26th minute when Bailey Wilson deposited a rebound past Oak Harbor keeper Annie Leete.
