SNOHOMISH — Rachel Storenka scored the only goal in a Wesco 3A victory by Glacier Peak over Shorewood. “Emmy (Davis) played a beautiful through ball,” said Grizzlies’ head coach Melinda Torre. “Rachel had a couple of opportunities on her right foot, but she is left footed, and she got it in off her left foot.” Mackenzie Sevenants and Bailey Anderson each played a half in goal for Glacier Peak (11-5 league, 11-5 overall), combining for the shutout. Danielle Norsby was keeper for Shorewood (6-8-2, 6-8-2). Glacier Peak and Shorewood both advance to the 3A District 1 tournament, which begins Saturday.
