Man found dead in Spokane County ditch

SPOKANE — The Spokane County sheriff’s office says it’s investigating after a man was found dead in a ditch.

Deputies received a report just before noon Sunday that the body was in a ditch in an area west of Medical Lake.

The sheriff’s office said the person’s identity would be released by the medical examiner pending an autopsy and notification of his next of kin.

No further information was immediately available.
