EVERETT — Lynnwood pitcher Carson Hoerner scattered seven hits, struck out four and gave up just two runs to lead the Royals past Everett in a nonleague game. Seagulls’ Reece Hoiby finished 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and an RBI to lead Everett.
