4 hikers found after getting lost, calling 911

GOLD BAR — Four lost hikers, the youngest 8 years old, were brought to safety Sunday evening.

Snohomish County Search and Rescue located the two adults and two children south of Gold Bar.

They became lost while hiking off of Mann Road, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reported. The hikers called 911 around 4:45 p.m. Sunday.

They were spotted by a Snohomish County Search and Rescue helicopter crew. A ground team hiked in to bring them out. The hiking group included a father, his two sons, and his brother-in-law.
