Monroe rummage sale, car wash boosts education program

Organizers with the Skykomish Valley Indian Education program have scheduled a rummage sale and car wash from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 18th at Park Place Middle School in Monroe. The program serves Native American and Alaskan students in the Monroe, Snohomish and Sultan public schools.
Proceeds from the sale and car wash benefit the program’s nonprofit parent organization, which supports student activities and scholarships.
Donations of gently used clothing, household items and collectables will be accepted from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday and after 8 a.m. on Saturday.
