SMOKEY POINT — Police are asking for help identifying a suspect in an attempted pharmacy robbery in Arlington.

It happened about 12:15 p.m. Thursday at the Smokey Point Rite Aid, city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said.

The suspect entered the store and implied to employees that he had a gun.

Investigators say he ran away — likely getting in a vehicle or on the bus — without any loot.

He is described as white, in his 50s or 60s, and balding with gray hair. He wore a gray sweatshirt and black shorts.

Anyone with information should call 360-403-3400.
