Man shot in Everett park early Monday

EVERETT — A 24-year-old man was shot at Everett’s Howarth Park early Monday morning.

Neighbors told Daily Herald news partner KIRO-TV that they heard gunshots shortly before 2 a.m.

Police found a shotgun loaded with birdshot, and the man’s injuries were not life threatening, according to KIRO-TV.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment. No update on his condition is available.

The victim was not cooperating with police, who were still looking for the shooter as of early Monday.
