Everett shooting victim identified

EVERETT — A man who was killed along W. Casino Road on Tuesday has been identified as Carlos H. Lara-Ramos, 28.
Lara-Ramos, of Everett, died from a gunshot wound to the chest. His death was ruled a homicide, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Everett police continue to search for a suspect.
The shooting happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of Arterra Apartments at 711 W. Casino Road. Witnesses reported seeing the shooter run from the scene. Everett police have declined to provide a description of the suspect.
