Police investigating body found in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD — Detectives were investigating the discovery of a man’s body found on the side of a road here Thursday.
The body was reported about 9:30 a.m. in the 19700 block of S. Danvers Road, not far from I-405.
The caller said a person was down on the side of the road, Snohomish County sheriff’s Lt. Scott Parker said. Fire crews arrived and confirmed the person was dead.
Sheriff’s major crimes detectives were summoned because there was some sort of trauma to the man’s head. No other details were immediately available.
